History and Company Structure

Quelac has been working in the food sector for over 20 years, at first in the importation of a wide range of foods. Over the years we have come to specialise in lactic products, especially in dairy products, namely imported cheese. We commercialize cheese and European specialities, from countries such as France, Holland, Germany, Italy, Denmark, the United Kingdom or Belgium, among others).

We are also specialists in the sale of Spanish cheeses; we have a wide range of national specialities such as Idiazábal, Tetilla, Mahon or Manchego.

Over the last few years we have developed and adapted our range to the food service market (hotel and catering), and we use various special formats in order to work with this market segment. We have also developed our own facilities for handling, grating and packing our products.

Quelac operates through our network of distributors throughout Spain and Andorra, which allows us to provide our clients with total national coverage. International operations are handled by Spanish Food Trade (www.spanishfoodtrade.com), our exporting company.
